Absolutely had a great experience dining at Brennan’s. I tried the Taste of Brennans’s, my friends had the Blueberry Ricotta Pancakes as well as the Cinnamon Roll. We decided to taste each other’s dish. Each one was delicious. We would also like to give a shout out and a huge thank you to our phenomenal waiter Alfredo H. He was so kind, very attentive, was the life of the room. A lot of our great experience was thanks to Alfredo. Would go back not only for the food but also to get the chance of meeting him again.

It’s a magical place that truly takes you back in time. The food is absolutely worth the price. The waiters are extremely polite and attentive. The music is perfectly curated and fits the atmosphere beautifully. The banana dessert with ice cream has a unique story behind it, and they prepare it right in front of you before serving it.

MAKE THAT RESERVATION, it is so worth it. This was our first time in New Orleans, and I was unsure if Brennan’s was one of those silly French Quarter spots or the real deal. Upon entering, I was astounded by the beautiful atmosphere, the welcoming service, and gorgeous decorations for the holidays. I wish I had scheduled more time to have more than the drinks, appetizer, and dessert my fiancé and I enjoyed, but alas we had to go to a cemetery tour. The table side service was impeccable, the oysters to die for, the bananas foster flambé unbelievable. This place is pure class, the real deal.

Brennan’s is truly a New Orleans treasure with a history as rich as its flavors. This iconic French Quarter restaurant has been serving guests since 1946 and is world-famous for creating Bananas Foster, one of the city’s most celebrated desserts. My daughter and I chose the three course chef’s choice option, which included a Caesar salad, stone shrimp, and a Snickers-inspired dessert that was absolutely divine. I paired mine with a lovely glass of Pinot Grigio, while my partner enjoyed a perfectly cooked steak. Even the warm starter bread was memorable. The service was impeccable. Our waiter was kind, attentive, and made the evening feel extra special. The ambiance was beautiful, blending fine dining with a casual atmosphere that made us feel both elegant and comfortable at the same time. Dining here feels like stepping into history with the classic New Orleans charm and timeless building. I really wanted to try their legendary Bananas Foster, but since it is prepared for two I will save that for next time. And there will definitely be a next time. Between the food, the service, and the ambiance, this was an incredible experience. Love New Orleans, love the French Quarter, and absolutely loved Brennan’s.

Brennan's is historic and it lived up to the hype. The atmosphere was perfect for brunch and the service was impeccable. The food was great also, we got the crab cake, seafood gumbo, shrimp and grits, Scotch egg, and of course we got the bananas foster. I knew the bananas foster was going to be good, but it exceeded my expectations. It's a must get as they flambé it table side. It's a great place for a special occasion.

My son and I made Sunday brunch reservations after seeing rave online reviews, and Brennan’s did not disappoint. We were seated immediately upon arrival at a double-linen, eloquently organized, low-top table in the dining room, with views of the courtyard. I enjoyed the turtle soup as an appetizer and the perfectly prepared duck confit hash for my entree. My son was delighted with his gumbo soup and his medium-rare hanger steak with a sunny-side-up egg. They did not skimp on the alcohol in either our Brandy Milk Punch or Irish coffee. Of course, we had their world-famous Bananas Foster prepared table-side for our dessert. This was our second restaurant during our New Orleans vacation, and we used it to set the bar for what to expect from fabulous food and service. Door man. Excellent service, and every single staff member greeted you when you walked by. Brilliant linens and silverware. They even had someone who scraped the breadcrumbs off the table between servings. Only a collared shirt is required for brunch. The price is consistent with the experience, food, and ambiance. I would highly recommend Brennan’s for an upscale restaurant experience.

We spent several days in New Orleans and ate at a few fine dining places, but Brennan's was by far the highlight of our culinary adventures in New Orleans! We came in for brunch, and every minute was superb. The wait staff was so friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is so beautifully decorated and pleasant. We started with a delicious Irish coffee and Bloody Mary. My crab cake appetizer was really special, creatively done with the freshest ingredients and perfectly fried exterior. The turtle soup is a must try! The shrimp and grits had a fun presentation twist, and my husband's duck confit hash browns were out of this world. Of course, we got the bananas foster for dessert. They make the ice cream locally and prepare it in a special way so it doesn't turn to soup with the banana and sauce. It was so delicious and such a fun experience. The "cherry on the cake"? The coffee with chicory is probably the best coffee I've ever had!

Brennan's is a classic New Orleans fine-dining establishment and a must-visit, if only for the authentic Bananas Foster experience. The iconic dessert was created here in 1951 by Chef Paul Blangé and Ella Brennan herself. I sat at the bar and ordered it, and boy was it an experience! They bring a small stove on a cart right to your table or bar seat and make it in front of you, all while explaining the ingredients and its history. It tasted really good, too! Since the tableside preparation is the true spectacle, make sure you sit at the bar or make a reservation for a table so you can enjoy the presentation up close. This is a culinary piece of history and a delicious, interactive dessert that I'd say is a definite must-try.
